Bill and Courtney Glaab started their company, Hand in Hand Soap, after learning that 5 million children die each year from water-related illnesses. What’s more, they learned that upwards to 45% of these deaths could have been prevented if they had access to clean soap and water. Since 2011, Hand in Hand Soap has donated more than 437,000 bars of soap and provided thousands with a clean source of water.
The company places a strong emphasis on making their products with sustainable resources. As it is, their products’ ingredients are derived from nature, they’re fair trade, 100% vegan, and they’re entirely free of any palm oil derivatives. Moreover, none of the products made by Hand in Hand Soap are tested on animals. Additionally, all of their ingredients are sourced and harvested responsibly and all packaging is made from recyclable material.
Hand in Hand makes products that will make you smell and feel better, both by its application and the fact you’re making a positive impact on the world. For every product purchased from Hand in Hand, one bar of soap + one month of clean water is donated to a child in need.
